sweet, sweet cold

I was like 3 years ago, my father told to my sister and me that he buy 3 plane tickest to punta arenas, so we need to prepare all ours things and we need to do it soon.

In the past, I always remember the holidays with my father like a headache, but not this time. as soon as we were in airport we decided to went to the hostel and there ate something before we make a plan of what we should do for that week, with the full stomach, I take a few pesos and went to walk alone to see what we have near and where i can buy a map of punta arenas with the important places, after a couple of hours i return to the hostel to wake up my father and my sister to tell them that we can choose between visit torres del paine or tierra del fuego and if we were lucky saw some penguins, i love penguins, so all the time i try to convince them to travel to tierra del fuego, happily for me we did both of them. the first thing we do was travel to torres del paine, it was a very long trip in a very small car but it worth every moment, torres del paine is a such beautiful place full of things to see, to listen, to smell, to take a moment to just stay there, trying to save the moment of be erase for your soul. if i close my eyes I can still remember the sharps stones of the ground, the wet wood of the trees, the strong sound of the water, the heavy wind that makes my sweat to walk and the cold air that fills my pulmones. That was a very good day.

In the night we prepared everything to visit the penguins, but we prefered to contract a guide because only 2 ferries crossed magallanes narrow´s per day, so this guy, lead us there, the first thing that he told us was to don't expect to find another person there, even in the only city of tierra del fuego you can feel the lonely. he also told us the city name was porvenir, but the people used to tell it "pormorir" because the actual population there is like 100 people, there is more abandoned houses than fingers. and i was true, when we were in porvenir you can easily see that is wasn't anything "por venir" there. after that we have to wait like 3 hours to have the opportunity to see maybe a couple of penguins, but when we arrived we saw a lot of birds in suits, we stay there a few hours before we have to leave that elegant meeting and return with not so fancy people.
